Moving Again

looks like i will be in Yokohama for a while, helping the domestic farmers in Japan selling their local produce (sweet sweet fruits*).

so konnichiwa-! to Yokohama!

mosaic

i was not sure if it was my false memory or not, but when i went back to my elementary school this year, i found it....
the mosaic was made from my draft design and it was donated as a gift to the school when my grade graduated in H16.

the mountain in the back is Mt.Akagi in gunma, which i just visited with my friend recently.

moved to Japan-*

i am back to where i was born. my room has not changed since when i was 18.
here, it's hard for me to feel that i "grew up" at all. i still feel like 18.

but my parents sure have a lot more gray hair, the clover field that i used to play in has been flattened and now there is a wide street with cars passing, rice fields are replaced with unfriendly looking houses.

starting tomorrow, i am sending letters to the people that i have been wanting to say thank you.

festival-cont.

options

what i can do, what i cannot do, which is better than another, what kind meal should i make for lunch, which street to take, which rout to take, which button to click, what steps to take, which lights to turn on, what i should do today instead of tomorrow, who's fault was it that caused all the trouble at work, do i want to read or write, should i speak or stay silent, do i believe in ghosts?

Gardening

Did you know that for some herbs, you can just clip the stems and plant them directly into the soil for them to grow roots? So we tried it with basils and seems like it really works.... found lots of plastic pots laying around the property that we moved into...i think we will be making a garden next weekend with tomatoes, mini tomatoes, jalapeño, cilantro, basil, thai basil, lemon grass, okra, green peas, water melon, onions, daikon radish, thyme, tobacco, poppy, strawberries, shiso, cucumber, coffee....and some more i think.

happy dry tree

i moved to a new apartment with a very large yard. it is mostly very green except one tree. it looked like it was loosing all the leaves. but after watering it everyday, it bloomed pretty yellow flowers this morning.

Challah Bread(ハラ)

Eggy and sweet Jewish bread, Challah.
missed it so much e made it ourselves.

I used the recipe from this site.
